Red Baron Live Review- A fly away Success? Or a total Crash and Burn?

Evolution has released a new live game — but this time, the concept is something we’ve seen before in many forms. There are no wheels, no dice, no bonus rounds… so what is there? Let’s break it down.

Game Overview

Red Baron Live is a fresh live gameshow built around an incredibly simple idea:
Place your bet — anywhere from 10p up to a hefty £2,500. Then… wait.

When the round begins, a bright red WWI-themed fighter plane takes off. The “Red Baron” was the nickname for a famous German pilot, and Evolution’s version climbs skyward, gaining altitude by the second (or microsecond). As it ascends, a multiplier rises with it.

Multipliers start at 1.00x and can reach up to a jaw-dropping 20,000x — with a max payout of £500,000, depending on your stake.

Flying Phase: Risk vs Reward

Once the plane launches, the game becomes a pure gamble of timing. Players must decide when to cash out:

  • Cash out early at 1.01x for the smallest, safest return.
  • Hold your nerve and aim for the higher multipliers.
  • Or risk it all waiting for the giant numbers… because if the plane crashes at 1.00x, you lose the lot.

It sounds painfully simple — and it is. But that’s also the appeal. No waiting for wheels to spin. No dice rolls. No hoping for a bonus or top slot multiplier. Just pure nerve.

An auto-cash-out option lets players pre-select a multiplier and let the game do the rest — assuming the plane makes it that far.

Behind the scenes, the outcome is determined by a random number generator, exactly like online slots. Before each round, the RNG selects the crash point, and the climb plays out visually to match it.

Visuals & Presentation

One of the nice features here is the “Top Wins Last Hour” panel. It shows the largest wins from the past 60 minutes, adding a layer of social buzz and FOMO.

However, it’s slightly flawed:
It highlights the biggest cash wins, not the biggest multiplier wins. So a high roller dropping £2,500 and cashing at a tiny multiplier will dominate the board over someone hitting a massive x100 or x300 on a 50p stake. A missed opportunity.

As for the host… well, he’s dressed in full Red Baron gear. It’s quirky, but beyond standing there in costume, there isn’t much for him to do. The game is too simple for heavy presenting.

Final Verdict

Is it groundbreaking? No.
Is it new? Not even slightly.

It’s essentially a live-action version of a long list of pre-existing “crash” games — Crash, Aviator, and even Evolution’s own first-person Red Baron.

But here’s the twist:
I actually like it.

If you prefer silence and no presenter chatter, stick to the non-live versions. But if you enjoy the social element — seeing others hit big scores and knowing someone out there nailed a monster multiplier — Red Baron Live adds an engaging layer.

From my own brief session, I saw a handful of 10x hits, a couple of 100x moments, and chatter about a 2000x. I personally bagged a 50x, which put me in profit, before the plane crashed at 79x.

It’s not going to rival Crazy Time or Monopoly Live, but as a casual “jump in and go for a big multi” experience, it’s genuinely fun. If you want to see the 10p Gamer play it, let us know!

Final Score: 6/10.
A glitter-coated version of a familiar game — but hey, I like glitter. It’s shiny.

Will it get old fast? Probably.
Is it a short-term buzz? Absolutely.
But does it scratch that multiplier-chasing itch? 100%.

Alright guys, let’s talk about Ice Fishing, Evolution’s latest live casino game show. If you’ve been around the channel, you’ll know I’ve not been playing much live casino recently – mainly because slots have been stealing the show and, let’s be honest, Evolution have put out some absolute stinkers lately (Balloon Race, Marble Race, I’m looking at you).

But Ice Fishing? This one actually surprised me.

Ice Fishing by Evolution Gaming – Review

The Basics

Ice Fishing is a fast-paced wheel game. The main game is a 53-segment money wheel where you can land either:

  • Cash prizes on Leaf segments
  • Multipliers up to 10x
  • Or the real fun – one of the three Bonus games:
    • Lil’ Blues (3x to 100x)
    • Big Oranges (4x to 200x)
    • Huge Reds (10x to 500x)

That’s where the action really happens.

The Bonus Rounds

When you hit a Fish Bonus, you head off to the icy Arctic with the host who pretends to reel in your catch. Sometimes it’s a tiddler, sometimes they need cranes and helicopters to haul it in, and yes – there are penguins. Penguins, cranes, helicopters – what’s not to love?

Each fish has a multiplier attached, and this is where you can see some really juicy wins. In my session, I had Lil’ Blues with a 5x multiplier hit for £25 off a tiny 20p stake – that’s the kind of cheese we like.

Ice Fishing by Evolution Gaming – Review Fish Bonus Round

Pace of Play

One thing I really rate about Ice Fishing is how quick the spins are. You’ve got about 7 seconds to get your bets down, and then you’re straight into the action. It does mean you’ve got to stay sharp, especially since the gambling commission decided to remove auto-play (don’t get me started – absolute disgrace), but the upside is you get through more rounds in less time.

The Feel of the Game

This game feels simple but effective. You don’t need endless side bets or overcomplicated features – it’s straight up: land a bonus, reel in a fish, hope it’s a monster. And because everyone in the bonus round wins the same thing, it feels fairer than some of the other game shows where you’re relying on about six different layers of RNG to hit anything decent.

The theme works too – clean visuals, decent animations, and yeah… even if the penguins don’t move (lazy penguins), the whole Arctic fishing vibe is spot on.

Turbonino Casino Review

Verdict

Honestly? I’m a fan. Ice Fishing isn’t perfect – it still suffers without auto-play and there’s always that feeling of “is the digital wheel really fair?” – but as a low-stakes, fast-paced game show it’s actually one of their better releases in ages.

If you like Crazy Time or Monopoly but want something a bit simpler, this is well worth a go. Just don’t expect every fish to be a monster – you’ll get plenty of tiddlers along the way.

10p Gamer rating: 8.5/10
Simple, quick, and with enough potential to keep me coming back.

Evolution are back with another Live Casino release, and this time they’ve taken an old classic and added a splash of colour—literally—with the all-new Super Color Game.

First impressions? Evolution seems to have finally addressed some of the complaints from their recent releases. Issues like overly complex or unclear user interfaces feel like a thing of the past. Super Color Game comes with a clean, easy-to-understand layout and just the right number of betting options. It takes the foundation of Super Sic Bo and actually improves on it, making it far more accessible—even if you’re completely new to the genre.

Super Color Game Evolution Live Casino

Another big win? The 10p minimum bet. Super Sic Bo doesn’t offer that, so this is a fantastic move—especially for those of us who enjoy longer, more relaxed sessions. It’s a step toward more responsible gambling, and with just 18 bet sections, you can get solid coverage without blowing the budget. Add in the fact that Super Color Game offers a generous 1000x max win, and I’d say this is the release of 2025 so far.

Gameplay-wise, it’s a winner. The dice are larger—almost reminiscent of the ones from Boom City (before it was abruptly pulled by Pragmatic Play). That size increase makes the rolling feel slower, smoother, and way more exciting. All good stuff so far!

But… there are a few HTIs (Hard to Ignore Issues), and let’s start with the malfunction procedure—because it’s just plain odd. In Super Sic Bo, and really any other live dice game, if a die lands in a non-flat position, all three dice are re-rolled. Not here. Instead, they pull aside the two stable dice and just re-roll the wonky one. That feels like a strange move. Malfunctions should void the round entirely—just like when you hit a win and there’s a malfunction, they void the whole thing. So why not the same treatment here?

Another downer: the game stats. They’re severely lacking. You don’t get any proper data on specific outcomes—no info on when multipliers or triples last landed. Just bland averages over the last 500 rounds. Not helpful, and a bit of a letdown, to be honest.

Still, despite those minor gripes, Super Color Game is superb. It’s well thought out, smooth to play, and genuinely enjoyable. If only they’d add autoplay as an option—it’d be nearly perfect.

There was a time when a new Evolution Live Casino release meant excitement — but lately, their output has been hit or miss. With Fireball Roulette, we hoped for a return to form, especially since the concept seemed fool proof: take the popular bonus round from Lightning Storm and inject it into a classic roulette format. What could go wrong? Turns out — quite a bit.

At first glance, Fireball Roulette looks the part. You’ve got the traditional roulette table, a flashy fireball bonus cage, and those all-important multipliers. But dig deeper, and issues start to flare up. For starters, there’s no 10p minimum bet option — a baffling omission when responsible gambling is supposedly a priority.

Then there’s the visual design flaw: the “Fire” numbers (similar to Lightning Roulette’s lightning numbers) completely vanish once the spin begins. If you’re playing the “Fireball Chaser” side bet, good luck figuring out which numbers you’ve covered — you’ll be squinting at the screen, round after round, and it gets frustrating fast.

Speaking of the Fireball Chaser, it mimics the “X Chaser” feature from Lightning Storm — a shortcut to the bonus if the right number hits. Sounds good in theory, but in practice, it feels like an overpriced gamble. We saw bets of £2.72 translating into as little as 60p on the actual wheel, with the rest funnelled into the side bet. That’s a steep price for a bonus that triggers rarely.

Fireball Roulette Evolution Live Casino

The bonus round itself is fine — essentially a clone of Lightning Storm’s high-energy bonus, capable of delivering up to a 2,500x win. It plays out as expected, but Evolution missed an opportunity to add something fresh or surprising here.

In the end, Fireball Roulette feels like another case of “what could have been.” The core idea is strong, but poor implementation and questionable design decisions let it down. The lack of low-stakes support and high-cost side bets give the impression that monetisation took priority over player enjoyment. Evolution once again delivers a flashy package — but scratches too shallow beneath the surface.

Evolution Gaming’s latest live casino release, Marble Race, launched on April 9th, 2025, marking their third game show of the year. Following the underwhelming releases of Race Track and War, this new offering unfortunately continues the trend of disappointment.

The core concept revolves around six coloured marbles racing through a pinball-style machine, with players tasked to predict the first and second-place finishers. However, the game’s potential is severely hampered by an overly complex interface and a modest maximum win potential of just 27x.

Marble Race Live Paytable

The most glaring issue lies in the game’s limited betting options. Despite having six marbles in play, players can only wager on the first two positions. This design choice feels particularly restrictive given the natural opportunity to expand betting options to include predictions for third through sixth place finishers. The ability to predict the complete finishing order could have transformed the game’s appeal and significantly boosted its maximum win potential.

That said, the production value deserves recognition. The studio design is visually impressive, and the mechanical aspects of the marble race track demonstrate excellent design. The flow and movement of the marbles create genuinely entertaining moments during each race, making the actual gameplay engaging to watch.

Marble Race Live Evolution Live Casino

However, these positive elements can’t fully compensate for what feels like an incomplete gaming experience from Evolution. Marble Race appears to have been released before reaching its full potential, leaving players to wonder what could have been with a more comprehensive betting structure.

Marble Race Live – Evolution Gaming (Game Details)

Marble Race is a live casino game featuring six coloured marbles racing down a custom-designed track. The game operates with a live host who initiates each race after the betting period concludes.

Game Structure
Each round consists of a betting phase followed by the race itself. During the betting phase, players can place wagers on two different types of outcomes:

1st Place Bets

  • Single marble selection for first position
  • Payout varies based on the selected marble
  • Winning occurs when chosen marble crosses finish line first

1st & 2nd Place Bets (Compound)

  • Requires predicting exact order of first and second place finishers
  • Higher payout potential due to increased difficulty
  • Both marbles must finish in specified positions to win

Race Mechanics
The track features multiple obstacles and pathways that marbles traverse during their descent. Starting positions are randomized before each race begins. The race concludes when at least two marbles have crossed the finish line, determining winners for both betting types.

Results Processing
The game system automatically tracks marble positions and processes payouts based on:

  • First marble to cross finish line (for 1st Place bets)
  • First two marbles in correct order (for 1st & 2nd Place bets)

Game Interface
The betting interface displays two distinct grids:

  • Regular grid for single position bets
  • Compound grid showing color combinations for 1st & 2nd place predictions

The race view provides clear visibility of the entire track, with results displayed prominently after each race concludes.
